This book is quite an intense thriller. Exciting and intense, although I think a little over the top occasionally. However this definitely kept my interest throughout, and had me guessing absolutely way off course. Tim: I have a character arc planned out for Raker, which will see him through the first four books. Beyond that, I think it’s definitely a case of letting it flow! What I enjoyed most about “Chasing the Dead” was the strong sense of place, the willingness to confront the seedy and unpleasant without wallowing in it and mastery of pace shown in the writing and the plotting.
