This exquisite composition weaves together a tapestry of scents that exude opulence and sophistication. I honestly didn’t think I would find anything close…until I tried Ministry of Oud Oud Satin, a clear inspiration to the original, this extrait de parfum succeeded in what most dupes don’t!
Still going to wait a month or so but if the smell after 24+ hours is what this fragrance is hoping to achieve then it'll be worth the wait. These perfumes are made with ingredients that are pronounced, striking, and captured with a superior finesse that most designer perfumes lack. The perfume is unisex, beautifully blended, has moderate to strong projection and excellent longevity. I applied one spray before bed and my husband told me I smelled good and said this reminds him of a scent his dear mother wore.Most of what I get from Oud Satin is a very front and forward rose note that draws out from the first spray to seven hours later. Minister of Oud – Oud Satin Extrait 100ml is a fragrance that transcends gender and belongs to the Oriental Floral fragrance family. Top notes are Bulgarian Rose and Agarwood (Oud); middle notes are Turkish Rose and Benzoin; base notes are Violet and Vanilla.
But I t’s a high quality scent - not too heady, with some powdery violet - well balanced with a little oud.Ministry of Oud Greatest has a beautiful opening as you get the Saffron and nutmeg initially then comes the Oud. There is a slight sweetness, almost like unburned incense from the oud, but to me it's way more rose-powdery than it is oud-y. The bitter, the sweet, the rosy and the woody, have all come together in a fragrant aroma to mould the distinct, ama. Top notes are Saffron, Nutmeg and Lavender; middle note is Agarwood (Oud); base notes are Patchouli and Musk. Oud Royal is a stylish and warm fougere fragrance with a beautiful kaleidoscope of woody, aromatic green and spicy nuances.
A little bit different in the opening, but the rest is like 90-95% close, I barely made a difference when I compared the OG with this one on the paper.
First Instinct is a masculine irresistible contrast of freshness and warmth, as exciting as the feeling of a first glance. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. What's particularly interesting is I am finding Ministry Of Oud's Greatest just a bit sweeter, and I am getting that Dior Elixir vibe in the late dry-down, which is something I don't get much of from Greatness or Glory.
Wood-powdered composition Fragrance Worlds Green Sapphire, is the perfume personification of a precious stone-sapph. It also smells way better after like 30 mins than the initial spray but the initial spray is not bad at all, just strong and sharp for a short time. The rose blends with the oud in the intertwining of darkness, but at the same time in deeply soothing, as if gentle wavy tones resonating from the softness of the trees, to the lovely floral echo, with the glitter of mystery in the background. I’m glad I did this scent is close to the original and on my skin it last a long time I bought this so I won’t have to use the original so much and I can use this one more.The fragrance maintains a powdery and warm quality throughout its development, with Violet and Amber contributing to its depth and allure. I'll test them on skin too so i can see if there are any differences on skin, because on paper, not really. It’s turned my thinking upside down, opened my mind, and most likely my flipping wallet to more rose scents in future.
