It would be the kind of scent I would wear by day, as it wouldn't knock anyone out, but it certainly does nothing to impress me. I experience Beyond Paradise as a sort of prism in reverse, with its many notes coalescing into a smoothly abstract whole. After reading the rave reviews here and being cognizant of the award winning status of Beyond Paradise, I decided that it was time to try this fragrance. I have had a mostly full bottle of this in the refrigerator for several years, and tonight I decided to give it another try--I like it much better now, and I don't know why I didn't care for it before. I don't think they did it because the juice inside was going rancid with time, this fragrance together with some other "old" ones were supposed to be very "oily" and be worn over a fur coat so they had to be kept in their boxes, in the dark and in a cold place.

I have a 100ml, unused, original rainbow bottle of this, still in its box, which I'm pretty sure I bought duty free in around 2003/2004. I have mixed feelings, as I wrote, about white florals; sometimes they’re just too tropical for my mood. On me, having dry skin it smells more crisp a Personal favourites include Knowing (chypre), Private Collection (green) and PC Tuberose Gardenia (white floral) to name but a few.Unfolds on your skin with a fascinating blend of tropical wetness, zesty freshness and bursting floralcy\". Sweet, creamy white flowers, crisp, fresh florals, elegant, perfumey florals, and musky, vegetal florals are all available. It’s so over the top I can’t help but laugh and then once that dies down I continue to huff my wrist and smile the smile of a happy perfumista.
