With advanced Deco Mesh Technology, units work together to form a unified network with a single network name.Devices automatically switch between Decos as you move through your home for the fastest possible speeds. On the inside, we find a single PCB within the node. There are no external antenna and no daughter boards. You can see that by reducing the components within the unit, TP-Link has managed to bring down costs. It's recommended that users stop all Internet applications on the computer, or simply disconnect Internet line from the device before the upgrade. If you are using a wireless device to test speed, ensure the wireless device supports 5GHz and is capable of reaching high speed. Some older laptops' Wireless Network Adapters are not able to reach high enough speeds.
