But as soon as you apply it to your face it turns into skin color. When you have a product like this you really need to apply it with your fingers and not a brush or a sponge. This due to that the warmth of you hands simply activates the color pigments in the cream. When I was looking at this product before buying it. A lot of people were saying that the color is rather dark. I decided to go for medium light, since I felt that is normally what I need. I also have yellow undertones so I do expect this shade to be right for me. Not my shade, but decent formula [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Alright, so here's my take on this BB cream – it's a bit of a mixed bag, but not all bad.Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number). My skin is quite good, I don’t have acne or scars. But I do have some discolorations due to sun, and redness, and wrinkles. So for me a natural look just suits me better. If there is some redness or uneven skin that shows threw, I simply don’t care. If my skin were to look flawless I simple would not like the look. Now, the downside is that the shade was a tad too light for my skin tone. I ended up looking a bit washed out, so I've passed it along to a friend. The cover is light and if you need a product to cover imperfections in your skin. This is not a product for you. But since my skin is quite ok I really don’t want a high coverage product. The light cover of Loreal BB C’est Magic suits me and the result looks really natural on my skin.
As a color match it is ok, but it is a little dark on my skin. During the summer time it matches me great but during winter I will have to use a lighter shade to get it to work. But fear not, full coverage lovers, because BB creams do come in various formulations, some of which will deliver just as much coverage as any good ol' foundation. Of course, there's also options with buildable and lightweight coverage that will give you that “your-skin-but-better” finish. They're perfect if you're after the coverage minus the cakey feel. Plus, since most of them feature skin-loving ingredients such as vitamin E, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, your face will be protected and hydrated all day long.
